Introduction
timeTallyer follows the principles of legality, necessity, and data minimization. This policy explains what data the extension handles, how the data is used and stored, when data is sent to external services, and what controls you have.
Core tracking, focus tools, goals, and local insights run inside the browser. Data is only sent to an external service when you voluntarily submit a support ticket.
1. Data We Handle

- Visited domain names, page titles, and time spent per site
- Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly local aggregates
- Focus mode settings, allowlists, blocklists, and reminder state
- Goal settings, category mappings, theme, language, and floating bar preferences
- Local analytics results generated from your stored extension data
2. Data only sent when you submit a support ticket
- The website and extension only send the fields you type into the form: title, optional description, and optional email

3. Data we do not actively collect
- Page body content, typed text, search keywords, file contents, or form body content
- Cookies, other extension data, or local computer files
- Government ID numbers, home address, precise location, or unrelated personal identifiers
- Browsing statistics sent to an external analysis service in the current public build
2. How We Use Data
- Local tracking and settings data are used only to provide extension features
- Support form data is used only to receive feedback, investigate problems, and contact you if needed
- We do not sell, rent, or use your data for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking
3. Storage and Protection
- Local extension data is stored in browser local storage and controlled by your device
- Local data remains until you clear it, restore from backup, uninstall the extension, or reset the browser
- Submitted support ticket fields may be retained in the support system for follow-up handling
4. Third-Party Services
- The extension does not include advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or third-party account modules inside the current public build
- The current public build does not send browsing statistics to an external analysis service
- Support tickets are the only standard external requests described in this policy
5. Your Rights
- You can review local data through the extension pages
- You can pause tracking, change settings, clear data, export data, or uninstall at any time
- You can decide whether to submit a support ticket
